CULINARY ARTS AT SWISS LANKA
The Kitchen department is the hottest and most active arm of the hotel trade and it's the same at Swiss Lanka Hotel School. Our full time teaching staff in Department of Culinary Arts consists of Executive Chefs that specialize in a multitude of cuisines. There are two divisions within the school's department of Culinary Arts. This is the International Cookery division and the Pastry & Bakery division.
A career in Culinary Arts is one of most attractive and challenging paths in Hospitality. A working knowledge of cookery is also integral to employees in all departments of a hotel. It is with that factor in mind that the subject of International Cookery is one of the core components of all full time courses at Swiss Lanka. We also have part time (weekend) courses –with international certification – concentrating purely to Food Preparation Skills.
